About David Mahone
Here to help you tell your story through photography.
David Mahone is an Atlanta-based corporate and event photographer specializing in high-impact conferences, executive branding, retreats, and brand-driven experiences. Known for his cinematic eye and refined documentary approach, David creates imagery that communicates leadership, excellence, and intention—crafted for organizations that understand the power of visual storytelling at the highest level.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, David’s creative journey began in 2014 while attending Savannah State University, where an unexpected introduction to photography ignited a lifelong passion for capturing meaningful moments. He earned his Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Visual Arts in 2016 and later graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Television, sharpening his narrative sensibility and cinematic visual language.
Today, David is trusted by corporate leaders, coaches, creatives, and award-winning event planning firms to document moments that matter—elevating events beyond coverage into legacy-driven storytelling. He has collaborated with industry leaders such as Jasmine Womack, The Empact Group, Maya Elious, and OneTouch Events—an award-winning international event planning firm recognized for cultivating ideas into impactful, purpose-driven experiences.
David’s work seamlessly blends conference photography, executive portraits, and branded event coverage, ensuring organizations receive imagery that supports marketing, press, internal communications, and long-term brand equity.
Earlier in his career, David worked with Agency 22 Entertainment and eOne Nashville, photographing live recordings, press runs, and events for acclaimed artists including Jonathan McReynolds, James Fortune, Deitrick Haddon, Todd Dulaney, and Tweet. His work has been featured on TV One, REVOLT TV, at the Southern Regional Press Institute, Rosenthal Art Gallery, and the Cultural Arts Council Center.
In addition to corporate and entertainment work, David has extensive experience serving faith-based organizations with excellence and discretion. He has photographed events and services for Belong Church Atlanta, Elizabeth Baptist Church, and Spirit and Truth Church Atlanta, approaching each assignment with cultural sensitivity, reverence, and intentional storytelling.
At the core of David’s work is a commitment to clarity, excellence, and purpose. Whether documenting executive leadership, large-scale conferences, intimate retreats, or community-centered gatherings, his goal is to create images that feel cinematic, honest, and enduring—visuals that reflect not just what happened, but why it mattered.
When he is not behind the camera, David is actively involved in his local church, serving as a keyboard player and member of the outreach team, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the metro Atlanta area. His faith informs his work ethic, integrity, and people-first approach—values that resonate deeply with the organizations he serves.
